Hi, I’m Vicki.
A board-certified health coach, plant-based chef, yoga teacher, author, wellness expert and serious food lover!
I love to eat…I especially love to eat PIZZA.
This freaks people out.
I’m often asked, “How on earth can a health coach with multiple wellness businesses love to eat so much pizza?”
Because when it comes to health, wellness and waistlines, we’re made to believe that eating should be torture and pizza is taboo.
I have a different approach to wellness.
I believe that enjoying a wonderful meal is, well, wonderful…and that pizza is absolutely allowed!
I also believe that living a healthy, happy, vibrant life should be satisfying, flexible and fun. It should be about adding good stuff in and upgrading your life – not taking the things you love out and feeling deprived.
I whole-heartedly believe in this approach…because it worked for me.
For years, I struggled with my health and my weight until I realized that I could change both – without diet drama, deprivation, torture, guilt or starvation – and actually enjoy the process.
I took small steps, made realistic, delicious changes (that I felt good about) and as a result, I literally transformed my life!
But for now…we’ll skip those details and I’ll continue on with this part of the story.
I was so jazzed up about my new healthy life and how good I felt that I just wanted to share e-v-e-r-y-thing I could with anyone who’d listen.
After 15 years working in Human Resources, helping employees reach their career goals, I realized that what I really wanted to do was help people – who, like me, were sick of struggling with their weight – reach their wellness and waistline goals!
So…I went back to college. I earned my degree in nutrition and health science, received my health coaching certification and became a certified plant-based chef and yoga teacher. I left the security of my corporate job, launched my health coaching business and began building my children’s entertainment and wellness brand from the ground up.
