With flu season in full force right now, many of us are trying everything under the (weak winter) sun to stave off or recover from that nasty bug that’s goin’ around.
Luckily (knock on wood) we’ve managed to avoid the sickies, here at the Marquez household.
It could be because we’ve been in hibernation mode OR maybe it’s because we’ve been guzzling this immune-boosting Cranberry Orange Smoothie….
Cranberries are a superfruit powerhouse, packed with antioxidants (did you know that they have more than any other fruit or berry?!) and fiber; orange juice delivers a punch of Vitamin C; and ginger’s medicinal and anti-inflammatory properties have long been used to fight the flu and common cold.
So, if you’re feeling under the weather or if you’re just trying to keep those icky germs at bay, give this liquid-sunshine remedy a try.
Cranberry Orange Smoothie

After you’ve blended this bad boy and sipped it down, I’d love to hear from you. How do you stay healthy this time of year? Do you have any immune-boosting remedies that you swear by?

Hope you’re feeling good (or better) soon!
